Avauna you were the only one prepare...Yes, I agree. Avauna you were the only one prepared when we went to Tufts, Harvard and MIT. You actually brought a pad and pen. Expand on why you felt that Columbia was your first choice. I am curious why you were so impressed with the school. Many of the others did not get the vibe and now have taken Columbia off the list. I think that it is a great school and has a lot to offer. It has a first class study abroad program, studying in New York City provides all the benefits known to man and it has a great network of alums. Hell, it is the alma mater of our current president, Barack Obama, so it can't be all that bad. Anyway, give us your additional views.

I would love to read them.

Hope all is well and I am glad that you are having a great time at Brown University. I did notice that you did not mention Brown as a possible choice, has the school not met your expectations?

Take care.

Charles T. Sounds like you had a pretty good time.
...Avauna,

Sounds like you had a pretty good time.

How about doing us a little favor: tell us about what you saw and what you thought about it.

You had positive things to write about Columbia, about Ellis Island and Ground Zero but you didn’t write anything about WHY you found them to be interesting.

With Ground Zero and Ellis Island, both of these places exude some serious emotions and feelings in people for a lot of different reasons. Was this the case with you or were you indifferent to the symbolism and magnitude?

And Columbia, surely there has to some reason why you’ve now elevated it to the same lofty status that UC Davis holds for you. Was it the architecture, the location, the people you saw or maybe was there something about the academics they’re know for.

Tell us, Avuana. Amplify and expand on what you saw so we might be able to share it all with you.Don Gosneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17110247579694408858noreply@blogger.com
