Zack,

I'm glad to read that you're having a good time but I'd like to read some time that you're dong more than just gaming, shopping, playing B-Ball, and attending parties.

I'm guessing that there's an occasional visit to a library or maybe with a TA or even your prof.

Perhaps in a future blog you can even tell us what it is you're studying and why you're doing some of the things you're doing.

Zackery,

Time to get serious. This experience is more than dancing and hangin' with the fellas. We want analysis on why your class is valuable and how it is making a difference for you.

We are all thrilled that you are learning a lot and taking a lot from the course. Please make sure that we know more about your fellow classmates and how they came to attend the class. Take us inside their world and why they are here at Brown.

Now is the time to show us that you have matured and that you will bring your leadership skills back to Pinole Valley High School. Yes, we want you to have a lot of fun, but we also want you to reflect about why being here advances you as a student, but more importantly as a person.

Take care.
